About the Club
Adur Indoor Bowling Club is a private members’ club that is run as a Trust with all profits being ploughed back into the bowling club.
We are an important part of the local community having started in 1990 and celebrated our 25th Anniversary in 2015.
The Club provides indoor bowling facilities during both the summer and winter seasons on its eight rinks, and is one of the largest clubs in the Southern area with a wide membership for around the local Sussex area.
The Club was one of the first in the world to incorporate the most advanced Icloud based computer technology using the "Bowlr" system to run the club's leagues, competitions and general club administration.
Membership is open to the whole community. Those with a visual impairment or physical disability are always welcome.
We have a large car park adjacent to the building, and offer catering facilities from "Mitchell's Kitchen" which is run by Ricky & Stacey Mitchell who serve hot refreshments and lunches every day during the winter and from Monday to Friday during the summer for club members & guests as well as visiting bowls teams.
We have a well-stocked bar, at club prices, serving Harvey's of Lewis beers, which is run by our Bar Manager Barry Novis and his club team of volunteers.
There is a separate area within the club, named the "Green Lounge," where general functions, such as meetings, birthday parties and small weddings can be accomodated.
The Club participates in a variety of inter Club, County and National competitions within the indoor format, and actively welcome bowlers of all abilities.
